As I have said in previous post we are installing the pistol for the first time this year. We are a 7th and 8th grade team. Thus far we plan we plan to install these runnning plays: zone read, power, counter, stretch, and jet. Does anyone run any two back lead/iso in the pistol? Any help would be appreciated with what we plan to install.

I am new to this forum and I am really thinking of using the pistol at the middle school level. I am looking for any tips that you may have for me. I have several skill players returning and very few linemen. Any tips on specific plays and blockings schemes? Also, does any run speed or jet from the pistol.

Bought a video by James Vint from Truman State. Great clinic speaker. I would recommend that anyone who has serious interest in the pistol look for some of his ppt files and videos. A must have for the offense.
