Pistol 2 Back Set sounds interesting, do you have the FB between QB and HB??

No, we offset the FB behind the guard (we have 2-3 foot splits.) He also aligns at one half yard behind the QB, who is at 3 yards. A back (tailback) is at 6 yards. If we go one back, we align the A back closer if we run veer or midline with one back. Helps with timing.
Occasionally, we go "Rock" with our backs and they both align behind the inside leg of the tackles at 3 yards behind the QB (at 6 yards from the LOS.) This allows us to run some different plays as well as some sprint out. Also makes slide protection easier.

We run the eye formation with the H back (FB) at 5 yards and the A back (TB) at 7 yards for most of our plays. We also run the offset, but sometimes that can give away what we are doing. We like IV, OZ, iso, toss, pitch, and counter from the eye formation.
Some footwork is slightly different for our QB in the eye vs. the offset for several plays, but it will differ 6 inches to 1 foot in his initial step and possibly direction of his step.
No much difference, but enough to practice daily.
